Lakewood Cottage is close to many natural attractions of the Bruce Peninsula. A short drive from the cottage is the hamlet of Dyer's Bay with a public dock and Georgian Bay access. The Bruce Trail runs through Dyer's Bay on it's way to Tobermory or to Lion's Head. Several Provincial nature reserves are close by - as is the beautiful Bruce Peninsula National Park. Tobermory & Lion's head are only 20 minutes away - where you will have the conveniences of a small town at your service.
